Craft Furniture Range
The Craft range celebrates the beauty of construction details. A combination of bold lines and deliberate restraint creates a refined, elegant aesthetic. The form extends across the expansive collection, which includes cabinets, sideboards, buffets, and shelving.
Design Journey
During its conception, our in-house design team set a brief to create a cabinet that visibly displayed its construction. A conscious effort was made to accentuate the structural elements, integrating them as integral yet beautiful components.
In response, the Craft range was designed with striking vertical uprights, extruding handles, and a lipped top edge. Together, these features form a distinctive silhouette that carries through the range of storage solutions.
Cabinet, Sideboard & Buffet
The range was first released in 2021 with free-standing cabinets, sideboards, and a buffet.
The designs seamlessly integrate into any home environment, effortlessly transitioning between bedroom and living room spaces with equal grace.
Further versatility is provided with the option of lightly toned oak or deep smoked oak.
Modular Options
Popular demand led to the evolution of a modular line in 2024. A series of cabinet and shelf options enable you to create a unique wall unit tailored to your space.
Create your desired unit by starting with the modular cabinet. Install as a standalone furniture piece or expand your configuration with extension cabinets. The modular shelves can be positioned above or by themselves as refined floating shelves.
The modular components bring a sense of sophistication to commercial settings. The design has been effectively integrated within office spaces or as retail shelving units.
Designed by David Moreland & Nikolai Sorensen
The Craft is designed in our Auckland studio by David Moreland and Nikolai Sorensen. It is expertly brought to life in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.
In 2023, Nikolai and his young family moved to Vietnam where he worked alongside the local craftspeople and manufacturers. The experience allowed him to finesse the intricate details of the design.
“Being able to work closely with our manufacturing partners was a huge advantage in developing this range,” says Nikolai. “Seeing our ideas transformed into reality through their craftsmanship and attention to detail was very rewarding for me.”
