Asili x Citta Whittle Bowl
This Whittle Bowl is a collaboration between Città and Asili Design. The bowl is designed in our New Zealand studio by product designers Nikolai Sorensen and David Moreland. It's then skilfully hand-carved in Uganda by Asili.
The design celebrates the character of the woodgrain and the handmade nature of the manufacturing process. Each piece is carved from Mugavu wood, a wood native to East Africa with a beautifully rich, deep brown appearance. The exterior grooves create a beautiful contrast with the smooth interior.
Due to the hand-made nature of these bowls, they can differ in size and dimension slightly.

Care Instructions:
Hand wash with warm water and dry immediately. Do not soak. Reapply food grade oil every 12-18 months to ensure longevity.
